Kamala Harris laughs off her own ‘total where you are’ word salad: ‘Yeah, I did that’
Even Vice President Kamala Harris was laughing at her own salads during her post-election speech on Tuesday.
With many of his supporters still worried about his defeat in November, Harris urged an audience of young people to “keep fighting” during a visit to Prince George’s Community College in Maryland.
“Please remember that this struggle is not new. It started about 250 years ago in Lexington and Concord,” the vice president told the audience. “For generations, it has been inspired by those who love our country, who respect its principles and who do not want to sit idly by when our ideas are attacked. “This fight is now going on with you. You are its heirs.”
Harris told his audience, with a knowing smile, “I’m asking you to remember the context.” He paused and nodded, “Yes, I did that. Ehhe,” and laughed.
KAMALA HARRIS AIDE ADMITS DEMOCRATS ‘LOST THE CULTURE’ AS INNFLUENCER MEDIA SHIFTER
He seemed to be referring to the previous word salad he had adopted for his campaign, “Do you think you just fell from a coconut tree? You exist in the context of everything you live in and what came before you.”
Social media users were quick to mock the vice president.
“He’s in on the joke now, but that doesn’t make it a joke,” noted National Review senior writer Noah Rothman.
Political commentator Collin Rugg shared the video and wrote with apparent sarcasm, “I have to say, this was impressive,” sarcastically referring to his words as, “deep commentary.”
Juanita Broaddrick responded, “He should be forced to sit in a room by himself and watch his videos. He has a dirty mind.”
Rugg added, “This is the woman 75M Americans wanted to send to negotiate with world leaders like Putin and Xi. Very important.”
“Your guest of 2028, everyone!” Fox News contributor Joe Concha made a joke.
Junk Science’s Steve Milloy urged fans, “If you haven’t thanked @realDonaldTrump today for saving us from this, please do.”
“The situation in which I live is such that your presence interferes with my existence and yet I feel unburdened by what was or will be,” mocked New York Post columnist John Podhoretz. “Que Sera Sera.”
