Jennifer Sheffield Wrote Upbeat TikTok About Ex Before Apparent Suicide
Jennifer Sheffield He celebrated the good of him again Brandon SheffieldTikTok’s divorce on a gruesome note just weeks before they were both found dead in what authorities suspect was a homicide.
“So, I’m going to be a new mother alone. I’m in the middle of a divorce,” Jennifer said in a video shared on TikTok on December 10, 2024. “My husband is amazing, but, really, really … we work together. All good.”
The 30-year-old TikTok personality appeared happy and excited as she filmed the video while driving in Mississippi.
“We divide everything in half. Everything is going well,” she said of her relationship with her estranged husband, Brandon, 40, at the time. “It is a public divorce that we are thinking about our daughter.”
Jennifer admitted that since she’s going to be a “single income” mom, she’s been trying to reach out to her network for tips on keeping costs down.
She noted that Brandon “will be helping out” with their daughter’s finances once the divorce is finalized. “He’ll be supporting her, so actually, I’m very grateful for that and I won’t have to worry too much about supporting her,” Jennifer continued.
However, she revealed that she “will have very little money to buy a new house,” and expressed concern about Brandon’s exit, saying, “I’ve never done this before. I’ve never been alone before.”
Jennifer concluded, “If you have any tips I’d really appreciate them because I’m a little nervous right now.”
The positive message about her relationship with Brandon during their divorce was shared 18 days before Jennifer and Brandon were found dead on December 28, 2024, in Brandon, Mississippi, around 7:19 am local time. Police Department Chief Brandon Joseph French confirmed their deaths to Dark Horse Press Now that day.
Authorities arrived at the scene after receiving a call from Jennifer’s family, who reported signs of foul play.
A police chief reportedly told the outlet that “it appears that Brandon Sheffield shot Jennifer Sheffield and then shot himself,” before adding that authorities are working on the theory that their deaths were apparent suicides.
“This is an ongoing investigation,” French told ABC affiliate WJTV in a statement on December 28. “I would like to thank the Mississippi Bureau of Investigation for their assistance with the Crime Scene Unit to assist in the investigation.”
Before her death, Jennifer wrote about her life as a mother in Mississippi, who was focused on getting into medical school. He had over 6,500 followers and over 100,000 likes on his latest videos.
