Taylor Swift Responds to Travis Kelce Breaking Chiefs’ Touchdown Record
Taylor Swift boyfriend supported by cunning Travis Kelce breaking the Kansas City Chiefs hitting record.
The pop star, 35, posted a “like” on the Chiefs’ Instagram page celebrating Kelce, also 35, who scored the most touchdowns in KC history.
Kelce and the Chiefs played the Pittsburgh Steelers on Wednesday, December 25, where the tight end caught his third touchdown of the NFL season. His overall record is now surpassed Tony Gonzalez.
“It’s everything to me. Tony has been a mentor to me, he has always been there for me [with] any questions I’ve ever had,” Kelce said in the postgame interview. “I feel like I’m still trying to fill that boy’s shoes. He is an unbelievable competitor and I have a lot of love for him. It is an honor to talk to him.”
However, Swift was not at Acrisure Stadium in Pennsylvania to watch Kelce and the Chiefs win 29-10.
Last year, Taylor brought her parents, Scott again Andrea Swiftand his brother, Austin Swiftand they went to Kansas City, Missouri, for Christmas. At the time, the family attended Kelce’s game against the Las Vegas Raiders at Arrowhead Stadium.
Despite the disappointment of losing to the Chiefs on Christmas Day 2023, Kelce offered insight into how he celebrated with Taylor and his family, crediting Austin, 32, for rekindling the holiday spirit by wearing a Santa suit and giving personalized gifts.
“It was a full commitment. He killed it,” Travis recalled talking to his brother Jason Kelce “New Heights” podcast December 2023. “He actually made me feel like a kid because his gift to me was straight out of the bag.”

Despite not being involved in the game, Travis expressed gratitude for his loved ones who helped save the holiday.
“It ended well with the joy of Christmas and great people,” he said. “That will always save Christmas whether the Raiders lose or not.”
Earlier this month, Us Weekly only revealed that Taylor planned to spend Christmas with her family and Travis this year.
The holiday comes a few weeks after Taylor’s graduation The Eras Tour in Vancouver on December 8. The 149-day tour ran from March 2023 to December 2024, covered five continents, grossed over $2 billion and was attended by 10.1 million fans. Now, he is ready to enjoy some much-needed rest.

Taylor’s break will include Travis after clashing with their busy schedules since the start of their relationship in the summer of 2023.
