Israel is forcing Palestinians in the Maghazi camp to flee again for their lives | Israel-Palestine Conflicts News
Israel is forcing Palestinians from the Maghazi refugee camp to leave after rocket attacks came from central Gaza.
Israel’s military on Wednesday issued threats to evacuate Palestinians from a five-story building in a refugee camp after it said Israel was hit by four rockets.
There is no end in sight to Israel’s war on Gaza after more than 14 months of bombings that have killed more than 44,805 Palestinians. Most of the victims are children and women.
Israel’s offensive in Gaza continues as it was agreed with Lebanon’s Hezbollah last month and focused on the overthrow of Syrian President Bashar al-Assad by opposition groups.
Both the current and incoming administrations in the United States say they hope to end the war in Gaza before Trump’s inauguration on January 20.
Ceasefire talks begin in the Egyptian capital, Cairo. Previous negotiations have been stalled several times.
Meanwhile, the United Nations General Assembly on Wednesday approved resolutions calling for an immediate end to Gaza. It also supports the UN agency for Palestine refugees (UNRWA), which Israel has moved to block.
Israel and its close ally, the US, were among only nine countries that voted against the non-binding resolutions, although they express world opinion. The cease-fire vote in the assembly of 193 nations was supported by 158 nations and 13 abstained.
