Nominees will be revealed Monday, December 9, on CBSNews.com/GoldenGlobes and the CBS News Mobile App at 8:15 a.m. ET. Ten special episodes will air beginning live at 8:30 am ET on CBS Mornings.

Actors Mindy Kaling again Morris Chestnut will present nominees in 27 award categories. Kaling is currently an executive producer at Max Sex Life of College Girls while Chestnut stars in the new CBS series Watsonwhich will premiere on January 26.

Nikki Glaser will host the 82nd annual Golden Globes. Since this is the first time he is hosting this event, he has turned to the presenter three times Ricky Gervais for advice.

While most of the nominees will have to wait until tonight to learn if they won, the two honorees know they will hit the stage. Viola Davis is the 2025 winner of the Cecil B. DeMille Award Ted Danson won the 2025 Carol Burnett Award. They will first be honored at a dinner on Friday, January 3, at the Beverly Hilton Hotel before each receives a part in the January 5 program.
