Chicago resident fumes at liberal mayor over immigration funding after fiery rally: ‘America first!’

Chicago residents outraged over a proposed property tax hike slammed incumbent Mayor Brandon Johnson at a city council meeting as the migrant crisis continues to weigh heavily on finances.

Among them was P-Rae Easley, the host of the “Black Excellence Hour” podcast, who has aired his fiery words a lot in the past.

“Normally, I’m here, and I’m arguing. I want to thank the city council. Our Mayor is a disgrace to the whole world, and you all take the power from him that the city of Chicago is in the business of funding illegals,” he said, wearing a red MAGA hat.

Easley told Fox News on Wednesday that the biggest problem for Chicago residents is “their bottom line.” FOX data shows that the Windy City has spent $574.5 million on immigrants, joining other Blue strongholds like New York City, Boston and Denver that have also spent large sums of money.

“We will not work to pay off illegals. They chose to come here illegally, and we don’t allow people to indulge in their crimes,” Easley told Lawrence Jones, emphasizing the “America first” agenda.

Last month, Johnson insisted that President-elect Trump’s deportation threats don’t just extend to “immigrants and undocumented families,” but also to “black families.”

The words drew attention to Easley, who criticized them as “very disrespectful.”

“Our people are not immigrants. We are immigrants, in fact, in the literal sense because our grandparents came here during the Great Migration,” he said.

“That’s why we are determined to end race. Because if you say Black, that can mean anyone…. There are black people who will be deported, but that has nothing to do with the American people. Our goal is to make this border closed and remove all unnecessary costs from the budget lines in the city of Chicago that we can no longer afford.

Johnson is trying to win a A $1 billion budget deficit at the end of the year.

Some who attended Monday’s council did not shut up when they spoke to the mayor.

“I found a great way we can do it with this budget. First, let’s start by cutting off the illegals getting everything for free, free housing, free education, free food. Yeah, let’s start with that. That will save us a lot of money,” said one woman wearing a “Chicago Flips” shirt. Red”.

“Let’s start there. Let’s start with you. Your salary. You’re going down in history as the worst mayor in America. Let’s start by cutting yours. You make a lot of money,” he continued.

One resident, an immigrant who entered the US legally, said he felt “very ashamed of what other Latin American citizens are doing in this city on behalf of the people who work, on behalf of the people who pay taxes, on behalf of the people who donate to this city.”

He continued, “I would like to make it clear that not all people are the same. These people came with an open door, and they feel entitled to many things that no one else has. There are American citizens who are suffering,” he said. “There are US citizens receiving public assistance, and these people are just here enjoying the benefits, becoming delinquent, and having no consequences.”

A third Chicago resident hugged Johnson by failing to make eye contact.

“Now I’m going to let you know what the people of Chicago have done,” he said.

Johnson’s office did not immediately respond to an earlier request for comment by Fox News Digital.
