Protests broke out in many cities around the world on Black Friday as protesters gathered to show solidarity with the Palestinian people as the holiday shopping season began.
In Boston, a large crowd of pro-Palestinian protesters showed up inside the Copley Place mall demanding an end to the war between Israeli and Hamas terrorists. The Boston Police Department told Fox News Digital that no arrests were made and no damage was reported at the mall.
In New York City, protesters filled the streets of Manhattan at Fifth Avenue and Columbus Circle to mark the day.
“We are all Palestinians,” the crowd chanted.

No arrests were made Friday, the New York Police Department said. The day before, pro-Palestinian protesters briefly disrupted the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade.

In Chicago, protesters blocked traffic on Michigan Avenue as they demanded the Biden administration end aid to Israel.
In London, a Palestinian flag was seen raised outside Luton Town Hall, according to videos on social media.
Demonstrators in the Indonesian capital, Jakarta, shouted slogans in support of the Palestinians in Gaza as they gathered outside the US Embassy.

This rally came on the day of the International Day of Solidarity with the Palestinian People. In 1977, the United Nations’ General Assembly requested that this day be celebrated every year on November 29.
The date coincides with Nov. 29, 1947, when the UN voted on the plan to partition Palestine and the creation of the independent Jewish state of Israel.

The UN in Geneva celebrated this day in cooperation with the Palestinians, said Tatiana Valovaya, director-general of the UN Geneva.
“This commemoration is a timely opportunity to reaffirm international solidarity with the Palestinian people and their right to live in peace and dignity,” he wrote online.
Pro-Palestinian protesters have accused Israel of indiscriminately killing civilians in Gaza after the terrorist group attacked the Jewish state on October 7, 2023. Israel has denied that, saying Hamas continues to use weapons and sensitive equipment in civilian areas and under hospitals and schools.

On Friday, the United Arab Emirates Mission to the UN said that UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan stands with the Palestinian people.
“The UAE remains committed to achieving sustainable peace and the realization of an independent Palestinian state, with East Jerusalem as its capital. Israel’s occupation of the entire Palestinian and Arab world must end,” the mission wrote in X.
