Lindsay Lohan’s White Suit Recalls the Parental Trap and Princess Diana
Lindsay Lohan she’s the reigning queen of Netflix Christmas movies, so it’s only fitting that she takes style inspiration from real-life royalty.
It was Tuesday, November 26, when the actor appeared Watching to discuss his new holiday film, Our Little Secretwhich is now available to stream on Netflix.
Lohan, 37, walked out on stage in a white Mugler suit that she instantly remembers The Parent TrapElizabeth James, whose wardrobe is said to be inspired by the deceased Princess Diana.

To forget the little white suit of Lohan’s on-screen mother (played by her Natasha Richardson) offered a reminder of his “accidental” meeting in California with Nick Parker (Dennis Quaid).
A London-based wedding dress designer, James is the kind of character who exudes fun, hard-working style – a fashion trend that Lohan has been using during her press tour.
Lohan’s Mugler tailoring is a good example and went on to show how she shares James’ penchant for tonal color separation. In accordance with The Parent Trap director Nancy Meyersboth are essential to beauty.

Keeping the silhouette in mind, Lohan was smart to layer the skirt with black tights that were polished and practical. She ditched the accessories save for her signature diamond earrings at Briony Raymond New York, which gave her investment wardrobe a final flourish worth inheriting.
It may not have been a gold locket, but we think today’s Elizabeth James would approve.
