Howard Stern warns Netflix about NFL slate after Jake Paul-Mike Tyson fight
Friday night’s Jake Paul-Mike Tyson spectacle was overshadowed by a number of issues Netflix customers experienced during the fight.
Netflix said 60 million people watched Fight Night, with a peak of 65 million. Many were upset that they could not get through this event without some difficulty.

Down Detector reported that at least 85,000 viewers had login problems. Netflix didn’t comment on the issues, but they raised red flags about the NFL’s upcoming Christmas Day broadcast. The streaming service will host the broadcast of the two games.
Howard Stern warned Netflix on his radio show that it better fix it.
“You know, I don’t see how these things work but you have to make sure they work … But if you — you lift people’s football, there’s going to be hell to pay,” Stern said, via Sports Illustrated.

Stern addressed the concerns of NFL fans, who voiced them on Saturday following the Paul-Tyson fight.
Still, the fight turned out to be Netflix’s biggest live sports event to date. The broadcaster has hosted live events before but none that blurred the lines of sports and pop culture.
Last year, Netflix hosted the Netflix Cup – a golf tournament between Formula 1 drivers and PGA Tour golfers. The tennis match between Rafael Nada and Carlos Alcaraz was broadcast on Netflix earlier this year.

The company will welcome WWE into the fold in January as “Monday Night Raw” airs on the streaming service every week.
