A Georgia election official is smeared with paint
The head of the election commission in Georgia was sprayed with a black liquid, believed to be paint, while announcing the result of the parliamentary vote.
Official Giorgi Kalandarishvili was doused with water during the confirmation of the parliamentary vote, which was won by a pro-Russian party.
Kalandarishvili signed a law that says the Georgian Dream has won another term, which has sparked days of protests in the capital, Tbilisi.
The pro-western president, Salome Zourabichvili, described the vote as illegal, accusing Russia of meddling.
