Diddy, Kim Porter’s Twin Daughters Pay Tribute to Late Mother 6 Years After Death

“We can’t believe it’s been 6 years without you,” the sisters wrote on their shared Instagram account on Friday, November 15. “We think of you every second of the day.”
The post included a black-and-white photo of Jessie and D’Lila, both 17, as newborns in Porter’s custody. While one twin sat on Porter’s shoulder, the model picked up the other child and kissed her youngest.
“We love you and we miss you so many words that we cannot explain,” they continued. “We wish you were here with us but we know your spirit will live on forever!! We love you Mom❤️❤️.”
Porter and Diddy, 55, had an on-off relationship from 1994 to 2007. Besides Jessie and D’Lila, the two had a son Christian, 26, who goes by the moniker King. The rapper welcomed Porter’s son Quincy, 32, to his ex Al B. Definitely!. (Diddy is also father to son Justin, 30, with ex Mass. Hyltondaughter Chance, 18, with Sarah Chapman and daughter Love, 2, with Dana Tran.)
D’Lila Star Combs, Kim Porter and Jessie James Combs In November 2018, Porter died of pneumonia at the age of 47. After news of his death broke, Diddy mourned his longtime love.
“I have been trying to wake up from this nightmare for three days. But I never,” Diddy wrote on Instagram at the time. “I don’t know what I would do without you, my child. I miss you so much. Today I will pay tribute to you, I will try to find words to describe our indescribable relationship. We were more than best friends, we were more than soul mates. WE WERE S–T!! And I miss you so much. Super Black Love. “
Currently, Diddy is in jail awaiting trial. In September, she was arrested after being charged with conspiracy, forced sex trafficking, fraud or coercion and transportation for prostitution. Diddy pleaded not guilty and denies the charges.
Although Diddy’s bail request has been denied multiple times, his legal team recently proposed a $50 million bail package. A decision has yet to be made. Diddy’s trial is currently scheduled for May 2025.
Since his arrest, all of Diddy’s children have remained by his side amid the music mogul’s legal troubles. The family released a joint statement expressing support for their father following his arrest.
“The last month has been very traumatic for our family. Many have judged him and us based on the accusations, conspiracy theories and fake news that have appeared on social media, “they shared in a joint statement on Instagram in October. “We stand united, we support you every step of the way. We hold to the truth, we know that it will prevail, and no which will break the strength of our family. WE REMEMBER YOU AND WE LOVE YOU DAD.”
