Jayden Daniels’ mother reveals why the Commander rookie remains single heading into the NFC Championship
Washington Commanders linebacker Jayden Daniels will soon enter the biggest game of his football career.
Daniels threw two touchdowns in last week’s win over the top-ranked Detroit Lions to help Washington earn an upset victory and advance to the NFC Championship for the first time in more than three decades.
Many players from the Commanders and Philadelphia Eagles will likely have full support from their significant others in Sunday’s big game. But, don’t expect the girlfriend to knock Daniels off the stands – according to his mother.
Young caller and mother of the year candidate, Regina Jackson, recently suggested that her son is not dating anyone.

Jackson shared his concerns about his son during the Heisman Trophy-winning rookie’s stellar campaign and his growing NFL fame.

“Girls, those girls.” he responded when asked what he’s worried about as Daniels prepares to make the jump to the NFL in a clip posted by Amazon Prime Video from the streaming service’s documentary “The Money Game.” This series examines how college athletes have handled the opportunities that have arisen as a result of the emergence of name, image, and likeness (NIL).
“Some girl out there, she’s got a Jayden Daniels wall and her mom says, ‘Hey honey, you’re going to be the one to get ’em. And I know that sounds crazy, but I guarantee there’s somebody trying to hook Jayden Daniels,'” Jackson said of the women who look up to the boy. for them to earn money.
“So I thank God that he found a mother like me because it is impossible,” he added.
Former Eagles running back and FOX Sports co-anchor LeSean McCoy commented in agreement, “Sounds like my mom lol OMOMs KNO.”
Daniels didn’t seem fazed by Jackson’s speech
“I bet it means something like that,” the former LSU linebacker said with a smile and a laugh. It wasn’t the first time Daniels talked about his mother’s efforts to make sure her son had a loyal team around him.
“Nothing beats a mother,” Daniels told Boardroom in December. “He studies people, he doesn’t want to put people around me that he thinks will help me.”

The Eagles will host the Washington Chiefs at Lincoln Financial Field on Sunday. Kickoff is scheduled for 3pm ET. On the AFC side, the Kansas City Chiefs hosted the Bills in the second championship game of the day. The winners of each tournament will meet in Super Bowl LIX in New Orleans.
