Kai Trump posts viral behind-the-scenes opening video: ‘My grandfather was president again’

Kai Madison Trump, daughter of Donald Trump Jr., has received nearly 27 million combined views on TikTok and YouTube after posting a vlog of her grandfather’s historic Inauguration Day.

In the 14-minute YouTube video, the 17-year-old boy is seen getting ready for the day with the hair and makeup team, before attending a church service.

The family then drove to the US Capitol, where President Donald Trump was inaugurated.

Kai sipped on Red Bull and cookies he picked up inside the Capitol building, as he joked with his father before the event.

Although he was not allowed to film the event, he included many clips.

The family got ready for the Liberty Inauguration Ball, where Kai stunned in a silver Sherri Hill gown.

“My favorite part of this dress is the corset because it just looks so flattering,” she said as she turned to the camera. “I also love all the diamonds and silver things. I think it looks really good on my skin.”

A clothing designer is linked in the youth’s video description, but it is unclear if they have a business relationship. Fox News Digital has requested comment.

Kai and his family then arrived at the White House to see President Trump, entering through a side door.

Framed photos in the hallways of the White House showcased the newly sworn-in president’s art.

The family took pictures in front of the fireplace in the diplomatic reception room.

He then showed his 806,000 subscribers the Green, Blue Green and Red rooms – a set of three parlors named after their color schemes.

“You know, welcome to the White House,” he told viewers.

They arrived at the ball where he expressed concern about dancing with his father in front of the crowd. Emotions seem to be fading as the family is seen more often.

He arrived at his hotel around 1 am, ready to rest before leaving the nation’s capital the next morning.

In less than a day, the video has collected almost 1.5 million views and 83,000 likes on YouTube.

Kai made national headlines when he spoke at the Republican National Convention in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, in July.

During his speech, he explained that the army commander was “just an ordinary grandfather.”

He captured America’s hearts, describing Trump stealing candy and soda when his parents weren’t looking, or playing a round of golf.

“When we play golf together, if I’m not on his team, he’ll try to get inside my head,” she said. “He’s always surprised that I don’t let him get to me, but I have to remind him that I’m Trump too.”

Kai committed in August to play collegiate golf at the University of Miami.

Kai’s production/representation, AKA Collective, did not immediately respond to Fox News Digital’s request for comment.

AKA Collective lists one of its clients as golfer Bryson DeChambeau, who posted a viral YouTube video in July of himself playing a round with Trump.
