In a video shared on TikTok on Thursday, January 16, Jonas, 35, showed himself dressed in drag. In the six-second clip, the Jonas Brothers star sported a full face of makeup, a layered bob wig, and a low-cut black satin dress. He lip-synced to the famous TikTok sound bite, which said, “I’m going roller skating, don’t touch my stuff!”
In the caption, Jonas simply wrote, “💅.”
Jonas Brothers fans flocked to the comments section of his video to share their reactions to Jonas’ new look. “This is bothering me, I can’t explain it,” wrote one fan, while another said, “this is ✨real✨ this is ✨me✨.”
A promoter based in NY Haley Kalil was also in the comments section of Jonas, writing, “We know this diva,” while another fan asked, “Why do you look like Patti Lupone.” Another commenter compared Jonas to an actor Selma Blairwriting, “Tell me why I thought this was Selma Blair 😂😂.”

Jonas didn’t elaborate on why, exactly, he’s wearing drag — or reveal his power (please, tell us it exists!) drag word. However, he was recently spotted in Toronto, Canada, with his brother Nick JonasAn upcoming holiday movie featuring a wife Priyanka Chopraon TMZ each Tuesday, January 14. Although not much is known about the new flick, it is reportedly a Disney+ project.
Jonas’ life has changed a lot in the last few years. In September 2023, he filed for divorce from his now ex-wife Sophie Turnerwith whom he shares two daughters: Willa, 4, and Delphine, 2. His second solo album, Music For People Who Believe In Lovedown in October 2024. In interview no Billboard earlier that year, Jonas talked about the process of creating his latest project, calling it “scary” and “liberating” post-divorce.
“I’m a happy person, and the music needed to be like that – but again, the journey to get here,” he told the outlet in August 2024. “I’ve been going through a lot of changes in life, finding out who I am. as a person and a father and a friend, and living under the microscope of what the music industry can be. And I think that, at such a crazy time in my life, I looked to music as a resource.”

He then clarified that although the album is his, he did not plan to alienate anyone in the process. “I’m not trying to look for anyone with this album,” he said. “I’m not trying to put things in the air.”
Jonas and Tuner were married for four years before news broke of their split in 2023. Jonas filed for divorce, calling their relationship “irretrievably broken.” After many disputes in court regarding the custody of their children, the couple announced their decision to split custody in October 2023.
“After fruitful and fruitful discussions, we have agreed that the children will spend equal time in loving homes in the US and the UK,” said Jonas and Turner. Us Weekly in a joint statement at the time. “We are looking forward to having great parents.”
