New police body camera footage shows strange behavior during the arrest of an Ohio teenager who was convicted of crashing his car into a wall at 100 mph, killing his boyfriend and his passenger in July 2022.

Mackenzie Shirilla, now 19, who a Cuyahoga County Commons Pleas judge called ‘literal hell on wheels,’ was found guilty of four counts of first-degree murder and other charges related to the deaths of her boyfriend, Dominic Russo, and his friend, Davion Flanagan. , in July 2022.

Prosecutors say Shirilla, then 17 years old, rammed her Toyota Camry into the wall of a business in Strongsville, OH, in the early hours of July 22, 2022, to end her toxic relationship with Russo, whom Flanagan had recently met. to ride.

In the video released by the Strongsville Police Department, the officer can be seen asking the handcuffed and crying Shirilla to get out of the police SUV.

“Hey Mackenzie, are you out for me?” a policeman was heard asking Shirilla. “I was the one investigating the accident. He was arrested for brutal murder, twice.”

“No one will ask you questions, no one will bother you,” he continued.

In a weird way, Shirilla is heard asking the policeman to be careful about her bracelet.

“You got it,” the officer replied as he adjusted the cuffs. “I won’t tighten these, okay? I don’t want to hurt you.”

The policeman then put Shirilla in another patrol car, she was seen trying to relax and closed her eyes while heading to the station.

Shirilla was sentenced to 15 years to life in prison in 2023 after the prosecutor scolded him for his “shocking lack of remorse,” but in a gesture of mercy, the judge ruled that the two terms be served concurrently instead of consecutively.

You will be eligible for parole in 15 years rather than 30.

Russo and Flanagan were said to have died at the scene, while Shirilla was unconscious and had to be pulled from the overturned car.

Shirilla and the two victims were there smoking marijuana before the collision.
