Kelly Stafford Takes Kids to Hospital as Husband Matt Goes to Playoffs
Kelly Stafford she made a terrible trip to the hospital with her children after leaving with her husband Matthew Stafford before the Rams-Vikings final.
“Last night was a long one,” Kelly, 35, wrote on her Instagram Story on Saturday, January 11, alongside a photo of her two young children lying in a hospital bed. “We’re back in bed and asleep, everyone except Hunter. You feel like you drank Celsius.”
In another post, he shared a photo on Instagram Story of Matthew, 36, quarterback of the Los Angeles Rams, and their daughters. “Before that, they were all smiles accompanying my father on his business trips,” he wrote.
Last week, Kelly revealed that she and her two daughters were seriously ill. “I can’t think straight,” Kelly said on the Tuesday, January 7, episode of her “Morning After” podcast. “Right now I believe I have a cold. My two daughters have a fever.”
Kelly and Matthew share four daughters: twins Sawyer and Chandler, 7, Hunter, 6, and Tyler, 4. Kelly did not share why exactly the children were taken to the hospital, or if they will be at the Rams vs. . Vikings. final game.
The family had gone to watch Matthew practice before the Rams’ playoff game against the Minnesota Vikings in Glendale, Arizona, scheduled for Monday, January 13. The Rams’ home game was moved from Los Angeles to Glendale due to wildfires raging in the south. California.
Kelly’s trip to the hospital came after he offered to charter buses for Los Angeles season ticket holders to travel to Glendale for the game.
In a press conference held on Thursday, January 9, Matthew spoke about the damage caused by the wildfires and the impact the natural disaster has had on his community.
“It’s a difficult thing to watch on the news, to be there, to see,” he told reporters. “Driving and seeing all that, it is very painful to see what is happening. Obviously, a crowd of people [are] they are doing everything they can to try to get things under control and get people back to normal as quickly as possible.”
Matthew continued, “Whenever we agree, we are the Los Angeles Rams. We play for the people of this community. The people of this community support us. This week will be another example of that, obviously. I hope it’s a good escape for people who have been through hard times.”
The Rams-Vikings Wild Card game will begin in Glendale, Arizona at State Farm Stadium on Monday, January 13 at 8 pm ET on ESPN.
