Trump meets with Italian Prime Minister Giorgio Meloni at his Mar-a-Lago resort
President-elect Trump appeared on Saturday with Italian Prime Minister Giorgio Meloni at his Mar-a-Lago club in Florida.
Trump appeared in a documentary that described the challenges some lawyers say they face in the legal system.
He went into the grandroom around 19:00 and came back about two hours after eating dinner.

“This is very exciting,” Trump told Meloni’s crowd.
“I’m here with a wonderful woman, the prime minister of Italy,” he continued. “You took Europe by storm, and everyone else, and we have dinner tonight.”
Other prominent people present at the document screening include his pick for incoming Secretary of State, Florida Republican Sen. Marco Rubio, and his pick for national security adviser, Florida Republican Mike Waltz, and his pick for Treasury Secretary, Scott Bessent.
Meloni’s visit to Trump’s estate comes after other world leaders met with the president-elect in Florida.

President Biden will travel later this week to Rome to meet Meloni and then Pope Francis. The White House said the meeting between Biden and Meloni will “highlight the strength of the US-Italy relationship” and will include the president thanking the prime minister for his “strong leadership of the G7 over the past year.”
