‘Misery and mayhem’: GOP convention lets Democrats off the hook for bringing ‘destruction’ to their cities

Newly elected GOP congressman Abe Hamadeh revealed what went right for Republicans and what went wrong for Democrats in Tuesday’s election during an interview with Fox News Digital after the election.

All the time, that’s why they hated me so much and, they literally called me a white person, even though I’m the son of Syrian immigrants and I have family from all over and all kinds of colors, ” Hamadeh told Fox News Digital, in his first interview since he was elected, responding to the Democrats’ post-election news blaming Trump’s victory about “racism” and misogyny” rather than discussing specific policy issues.

“They don’t know how to act because they can’t accept the fact that their policies have failed the American people everywhere. It has been done, like California and San Francisco, like Chicago, like New York City, name a successful Democrat. -run the city. You can’t because all they do is bring destruction, misery and chaos, and They’re trying to turn our country into something it’s not, something that looks like where some of my family came from Venezuela and they’re trying to turn our country into something that doesn’t exist. We’re not going to go to Socialism or Communism.”

Democrats and media pundits have repeatedly blamed racism and sexism as the reason for Trump’s victory despite Trump’s historic gains from several minority groups.

Hamadeh pointed to Trump’s success in bringing in fewer votes than other Republican candidates, despite media narratives about racism.

“President Trump was the one who was able to capture a large number of minorities, Arab-Americans in Michigan. If you look at Jewish Americans and Black Americans, Hispanic voters, it was really amazing and historic.”

“Here in Arizona, you know, we are still counting the votes, but I think that the margin of President Trump will only increase and what a great comeback for America. Regarding my race, it is very connected to my race, and, because, you know, I did not want to go to Washington, DC with Kamala Harris So I am proud that President Trump was able to secure this historic victory that we will have, I hope that a united Republican government and we will pass that America First agenda that works for all Americans.

Hamadeh told Fox News Digital that he knew going into Tuesday that he would win his district and that Trump would win because they were listening to the concerns of Arizona voters.

Nobody was happy about Joe Biden and Kamala Harris and this wide open border and the economy with the inflationary crisis we are in. So, you know, I really believed we were going to win and it was a surprise victory for President Trump. , winning the popular vote, winning the Electoral College, which includes many different factions within the Republican Party.”

Immigration and the economy, Hamadeh said, are the main drivers of voter turnout in Arizona.

“It gives a combination of both, I think it was open chaos at the border because for how many years did Joe Biden and Kamala Harris try to enlighten the American people that they were doing everything they could to protect our border, which was clearly a lie?” Hamade said.

“I mean, they have an open invitation for illegal immigrants to come where fentanyl smuggling, sex trafficking. So I think people understand that naturally President Trump had a secure border and Kamala and Joe Biden, you see how fast they are. It makes you think that maybe having a president who want to protect the border is very important.”

Regarding inflation, Hamadeh said Arizona voters should be watching their grocery bills.

“Arizona has been hit hard with inflation and I know that money speaks volumes and they understand that President Trump has had a booming economy,” Hamadeh said. “If you go to the store now, it’s more expensive, if you go to the checkout line. So I think it was a combination of the economy and the border.”

“But also really, I think it was a lot of people, if you look at what Elon Musk and a lot of other people who voted for Joe Biden in 2020 are now coming to President Trump. The law and the attack on the First Amendment and our Constitution was a threat to our foundation as a republic. So I think people understand that this is the time we need to return to sanity and take back the America we love.
