In a sweet photo shared on Instagram by Avignone on Sunday, December 29, the friends embrace while sitting side by side. Swift, 35, closed her eyes as she hugged Avignone, who looked directly into the camera with a small smile.
“Happy birthday, emphasis on *happy* 😆,” Avignone captioned the post.
Avignone was seen making a wish in front of her sprinkles-covered birthday cake in another snap, while a third showed a message from the dessert party, which read “Ash Is 25 (again).” Avignone also posted a glimpse of her cake on her Instagram story and joked, “Who’s in the spotlight?”

Swift and her boyfriend, Travis Kelcewere spotted arriving for dinner in New York City on Saturday, December 28. The couple, who began dating in the summer of 2023, held hands as they headed out together for a second night in a row in the Big Apple.
Swift’s friendship with Avignone dates back several years. While celebrating Swift’s birthday in 2019, Avignone revealed that the couple had been friends for over a decade.
“30 years of your life, 11 years of our friendship,” Avignone wrote on Instagram at the time, along with a series of two photos spanning the years. “Thank you for being a great friend, listener, dance party starter, storyteller, hair cutting enthusiast, big hearted, warm, and very generous. Happy Birthday Tay!! I love you so much ❤️.”
For Swift’s birthday this year, Avignone shared a few behind-the-scenes photos from the milestone — which came days after wrapping up the Eras Tour.

In a flash, Kelce, 35, appeared to recreate Swift’s Red set from her record-breaking tour by donning a fedora-style hat that resembled “22.” Avignone also posted this moment on his Instagram Story, writing, “And the last 22 hats go to…”
Avignone has also been by the pop star’s side in several of Kelce’s NFL games. While watching the Kansas City Chiefs take on the San Francisco 49ers in Super Bowl LVIII in February, Avignone cheered out of Swift’s star-studded suite.
Avignone took to Instagram after the game to share photos and videos, including a clip of her and Swift sipping their drinks as the jumbotron zoomed in on the two. Avignone wrote the inscription, “Viva Las Vegas.”
