Hudson Meek’s Child Driver Dies at 16 After Falling from Moving Car
Baby Driver actor Hudson Joseph Meek died after falling from a moving car at the age of 16.
“Our hearts are broken to share that Hudson Meek has gone home to be with Jesus tonight,” a statement on Saturday, December 21, on Meek’s official Instagram. “The 16 years he spent on this earth was very short, but he accomplished a lot and had a great impact on everyone he came in contact with.”
The statement added, “Please pray for Hudson’s family and friends as we all process this sudden and tragic loss.”
Meek, who is survived by his parents Lani again Derek and brother Tucker, sustained injuries after falling from a moving vehicle, according to NBC affiliate WVTM.
According to a statement, the Jefferson County Coroner’s Office said in a statement that Meek died 48 hours after being extricated from the vehicle in the 1900 block of Canyon Road near Highway 31. The investigation is ongoing.
Meek’s professional acting credits date back to 2014 and include Santa Con, episodes of MacGyver rebootSchool Assembly again Baby Driver. Meek showed off a smaller version of the Ansel Elgort‘s Baby in the 2017 film.

Pervis Talent Agency we read. “Hudson was an extraordinary young talent, his dedication, passion and promise shone brightly in our industry. Over the past 10 years, he has contributed greatly to the spirit of our organization and his loss leaves a void that will be deeply felt by all of us.”
The message continued, “Hudson was more than just a talent, he was a source of inspiration and touched many lives with his enthusiasm, kindness, smile and innate ability to light up a room and never meet a stranger.” He will be remembered with great love by all of us.”
A number of Meek’s loved ones and friends paid tribute on emotional social media.
“I am very sorry. Keeping you all in my prayers. 🤍🙏,” Interest an actress Brenna D’Amico he wrote in an Instagram comment.
Meek’s older brother, Tucker, responded, “I’ll miss you Hud. I love you bro.”
A celebration of life service in Meek’s honor is scheduled for Saturday, December 28, in Homewood, Alabama.
