“#BehindTheScenes filming a wedding scene at 410. New York City, May 2024. 🩷,” the official account of the Hulu series wrote alongside a carousel of photos shared via Instagram on Friday, December 20.
The first photo showed Streep, 75, and Short, 74, standing in front of an arch of white and pink roses outside the courtyard of the Arconia building. Streep stunned in a long-sleeved cream dress with floral embellishments. The short man looked dapper in a lavender suit with a cream vest, matching tie and scarf.
The two stood side by side with their arms folded as they smiled for the camera. The post also featured a number of pictures of beautiful flowers from the scene, a large wedding cake and the series’ favorite puppy Winnie – who is part of Short’s character.

Many fans of this crime comedy poured into the comments section and joked that Streep and Short, who had been rumored to be dating in real life, looked like full-fledged lovers.
“You can be like that [told] Meryl and Martin are married, I couldn’t believe it,” one user replied while another responded, “I believe this happened 🥹🤍✨.”
The short stars as Oliver in the Only Killers in Building near Steve Martin (played by Charles) and Selena Gomez (who plays Mabel) since the series premiered in 2021. Streep joined the cast in season 3 as Loretta, Oliver’s actress and love interest. In season 4, Loretta and Oliver got engaged and their wedding took place at the end of the season.
While their marriage was successful, Loretta and Oliver’s future is up in the air. Finally, Loretta shared that she had to leave for New Zealand days after the event to film her show. Olivier insists that they will make the distance work as he will live in Arconia alongside Charles and Mabel. The trio have another murder investigation on their hands as Arconia security guard Lester (Teddy Coluca) was found dead in a well following Oliver’s wedding.
Only Killers in the Building was renewed for season 5 shortly after the season 4 premiere. In short, Martin and Gomez are expected to return, but no additional casting announcements have been made yet.
