Tom Green has never felt like he ‘belonged’ in Hollywood, he shares why he chooses a much simpler life in Canada.
Tom Green has never been a fan of the glitz and glamor of Hollywood.
In a new interview with The New York Times, the comedian and actor, 53, opened up about his decision to return to his native Canada and explained why he enjoys the simple things in life.
“I’m not really a Hollywood guy,” said Green, who left Los Angeles in 2021. “I started to feel like I wasn’t being true to my true self.”

Green, who is promoting his new documentary, “This Is The Tom Green Documentary,” said fans will get an inside look at what his daily life entails these days.

“People will probably be surprised that I’m not completely crazy,” Green said. “There’s kind of a fun thing about it—that I have a close relationship with my family, that I love animals, that I enjoy doing a lot of things that most people in the world enjoy doing, like going outside. forests.”
Although Green, who lives on a farm, is enjoying a quiet life, he is busy with an upcoming US tour that combines high-quality comedy with music from his new country album, “Home in the Country.”
Green is not the only star who has left Hollywood recently.
Daniel Stern, best known for playing one of the Wet Bandits, Marv, in the show 1990 holiday movie “Home Alone,” he spends most of his time raising cattle and making sculptures on his farm in Ventura, California.
