Genesis Invital is set to Torrey Pines because of wildfires

PGA tour moves the Genesis Invireda to the South Course in Torrey Pines in San Diego in Feb. 10-16, visits declared on Friday.

The Genesis Invitational, which can spread by 15 champions of Tiger Woods, had to be played in Rivier Country Club in the Pacific Pacific Palifornia, California. The trip announced last week that the event will be removed due to a recently a fossil fire in the Los Angeles area.

In a storyto, PGA tour said it arranges that Genesis Invitational returned to the Rivier Country Club in 2026.

“As we saw two weeks ago, sports can be the best match but one great thing in the same partnering,” said PGA Tour Commissioner Jay Monahan in a statement. “To highlight Los Angeles and the need to continue the support of the continuous effort of recovering what our teams deal with the game of the Genesis Invitational ETTERRY PINE.”

Woods has also undergetted a microdecression on his back in September, and it is not known to compete in Genesis Invitational. Last year, Woods resigned from the second round of the tournament because of illness and treatment of IV Bag in Rivisa.

“We thank the City of San Diego and Torrey Pines for handling the 2025 Invitational Genesis of 2025, and everyone who ever tried to support the tournament,” said Woods Statement. “Although rivaa is still home to the Genesis Invitational, we look forward to playing some high-quality golf this year and use the tournament to support fires in the Los Angeles area.”
