Trump has issued security clearances for 51 national security officials
President Donald Trump has issued security clearances to more than 50 national security officials who said Hunter Biden’s laptop had “all the hallmarks of Russian intelligence.”
A total of 51 former national security officials issued a public letter in 2020 saying that while the laptop contained “no evidence of Russian involvement,” it appeared to be “a Russian intelligence operation.”
The letter comes after the New York Post reported it had emails showing Hunter Biden directed Joe Biden to meet with a senior executive at Ukrainian energy company Burisma months before pressuring Ukrainian officials to release a prosecutor investigating the company.
