Hilton, 43, took to Instagram on Sunday, January 19, to share a video of her son Phoenix, 2, sleeping on a blanket next to the family’s two dogs.
The clip, which zoomed in on the boy’s face and captured his pups Diamond and Baby lazing around him, came with the caption, “Take a moment to rest” with Pheeny, Diamond, and Baby sleeping on it.
The mother of two, who also has daughter London, 1, and husband, Carter Reumcaptioned it with a heartfelt message. “Some of the sleeping Pheeny and puppy pics for your feed 🧘🏼♀️🩷 With everything going on around us, sometimes we need a good reminder to take some meaningful time 🥹 #SlivingMom,” Hilton wrote. (The word “Sliving” is a combination of “killing” and “living,” a word coined by Hilton.)

The post comes after Hilton confirmed on social media on January 9 that she was watching her “home in Malibu burn to the ground on live television.” Describing the experience of that time, he wrote, “It is in this home that we made many precious memories. This is where Phoenix took its first steps and where we dreamed of creating lifelong memories with London.🥹.”
A grieving Hilton had an incredible vision at the time, continuing, “Although the loss is great, I remain grateful that my family and pets are safe. My heart and prayers go out to all the families affected by this fire. To all the people who have lost their homes, their memories, and their beloved pets. My heart aches for those who are in trouble or mourning a great loss. The damage is unimaginable.”
Hilton has maintained a positive outlook on the devastation of the LA wildfires, which have affected a number of celebrities after the storm broke out on January 7, lending a hand to displaced animals despite her heartache.
He wrote on his Instagram page on Monday, January 13, that he intended to adopt a dog donated by his family who lost their home in a fire. “And we’re going to go and see if there are any other dogs out there still looking for their owners,” Hilton said at the time, adding a photo of himself clicking a cat in hopes of finding its owner amid the Altadena fires. .

Hilton and a host of other celebrities have shared valuable information on disaster relief after a natural disaster, with the charity adding that her charity has been helping. The January 13 post continued, “My nonprofit @1111Media Impact has been instrumental in supporting the shelter’s efforts, and we are still raising funds to help displaced families and pets 💰Every donation makes a difference in providing emergency aid, housing, and supplies. If you can donate or volunteer, the Pasadena Humane Society is an amazing charity to support!”
