Kid Rock wants to ‘unite the country,’ shares plans to celebrate with ‘like-minded,’ ‘hard working patriots’
Days before his performance at President-elect Donald Trump’s inauguration this weekend, Kid Rock shared his plans to keep the event going through 2025.
On Thursday, the singer took to social media to make a “big announcement.”
“The announcement is that I will play seven stadiums in the Midwest in March and April,” he said in a video posted on Instagram. “After so many years of taking s— and being s— with the powers that be, the left-wing media, I think the celebration with the fans is not only misplaced, it’s overdue.”

“I still believe that now is not the time to be happy, it is time to try to unite this country,” he continued. “It’s definitely time to celebrate with like-minded, sober, hard-working patriots who love this country unfairly. Come, everyone, come, everyone.”
Kid Rock will join Jason Aldean, Carrie Underwood and a number of A-listers are scheduled to perform during President Trump’s inauguration weekend, the Trump Vance Inaugural Committee said Wednesday.

The “Cowboy” singer will perform at the Make America Great Again Rally at the Capital One Arena in downtown Washington, DC, on Sunday, the day before Trump’s inauguration. Billy Ray Cyrus and Lee Greenwood are also scheduled to perform at the event.
Kid Rock, a longtime Trump supporter, performed on the final night of the Republican National Convention in July.
At the rally, Kid Rock revamped his 2000 hit “American Bad A–” to include references to Trump. He began his performance by asking the audience to stand up and raise their fists before leading them in chants of “Fight, fight!” and “Trump, Trump!”

He ended his performance by saying, “Ladies and gentlemen, get ready for America’s most patriotic bada– in the world, President Donald J. Trump.” Kid Rock then introduced the UFC CEO and President Dana Whitewho spoke shortly before Trump delivered his speech.
During his speech, Trump mentioned Kid Rock, saying that the singer called him and asked if he could have a meeting.
“He’s been my friend for the last ten years, and he’s amazing,” Trump said. “Everybody loves him. I didn’t even know how big he was.”
