Kevin Kisner’s funny house fails to smash Tiger Woods: ‘Oh my God’

The second night of the TGL got off to an electric start when Tiger Woods holed out in the “Eye of the Tiger,” but the league hit a rough patch when Los Angeles Golf Club crushed Woods’ Jupiter Links Golf Club 12-1. .
While Woods headlined the night, his partners – Kevin Kisner and Max Homa – stole the show. Homa, unsurprisingly, was the most entertaining of the six golfers as his and the team’s descent led to some hilarious hot-mic moments.
Homa’s commentary was the best part of TGL’s second game until Kisner hit a shot that almost split the club in half, leaving Woods with two laughs.
Yes, travel professionals are just like us. However, sometimes.
Kisner then went on to nearly par the next shot from 57 feet to salvage par.
“I’m still in pain from laughing so hard,” Woods said on the radio from behind Kisner’s skull. “I didn’t think anyone could get hurt out here. It almost moved the stands. It was rising, my God.”
Homa, who was behind the struggling Kisner in the Jupiter lineup on Tuesday, threw Kisner before hitting his final shot of the evening.
As noted above, Homa was a bright spot for TGL on its second night.
With Jupiter getting drunk and Kisner spending most of his time blasting the ball out of harm’s way, Homa spent his night showing why he’s the right choice for a league that relies on players who show their personality.
Kisner also had his moments on the mic, including trying to go to the bullpen to relieve Tiger’s son, Charlie Woods.
The second night of TGL had its faults. That’s normal for any startup.
But Kisner’s skull and Homa’s comments show what the product can be: fun and effortless golf entertainment.
That’s the plan for TGL.
