2025 Sony Open purse: Payment information, winner share

This is Keegan Bradley’s Ryder Cup year, whether he plays good golf or not. But what if he plays good golf throughout 2025? What then?
We enter that reality at the start of 2025 as Bradley sits just two shots off the lead with 18 holes to play in the Sony Open. This player, 38, will be the captain of the American Ryder Cup team in September but if he continues to play as well as he has in the past 18 months, he will definitely find himself as the captain.
Bradley took a deep Saturday in Honolulu, shooting a 64 with eight birdies to climb into contention. He trails JJ Spaun by two heading into the final day. A win would launch Bradley into the top 12 of the current American Ryder Cup standings, and he knows what that means. Twelve players make up the squad.
Bradley has repeatedly stated that he will play in the Ryder Cup at Bethpage Black only if he is able to make the team, which would require him to finish in the top 6. This is a strong move, but we are not inclined to do so. Victory will push him to say no. 7 in the Official World Golf Ranking, a career high.
In addition to Ryder Cup points, FedEx Cup points, and an eighth Tour win, Bradley and the rest of the field are also chasing their share of the $8.7 million purse. Below, you can see how it all breaks down.
