RHOBH’s Dorit Kemsley Hopes for PK Wedding Update in ‘Another 6 Months’

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills‘ Dorit Kemsley gives a status update on his marriage PK Kemsley.

“Am I preparing for a divorce? Isn’t it? Such an idea—,” he explained to Bozoma. “When we finished [and] we are at peace, [he says]’Oh, please, I mean things!’ It’s very difficult.”

Dorit also told Bozoma that the uncertainty of whether or not she and PK will divorce is part of why she hasn’t told their children – son Jagger, 10, and daughter Phoenix, 8 – about their split.

“He and I must check it out so that I can prepare for them. This is one of the main reasons why I don’t want to tell them immediately,” he said. “It’s a ping-pong game. I don’t want my children to face that.”

Dorit and PK announced their separation last May after nearly ten years of marriage. “As a married couple, there have been speculations about our marriage. “We’ve had our ups and downs over the past few years and we’re continuing to work through them as two people who love each other and share two amazing children together,” the couple wrote in a statement posted on Instagram. “In order to protect our deep friendship and maintain a harmonious environment for our children we have made the collective and difficult decision to take time apart and reevaluate our relationship while putting our children first. Talking to Us Weekly just before the premiere, Dorit said that she and PK were yet to discuss the actual divorce.

“We are investigating at this time,” he explained. “I really hope that, wherever we go – I think when we end up getting back together – there’s a lot of work to be done. You don’t come to this place and want to just jump into the chair without doing the work that you know is necessary to enjoy the wedding and have the connection that you really need.”
