Married At First Emem Calls Husband ‘Clown’ In Sneak Peek
Married At First Sight Wedding anniversary celebrations don’t have to be dramatic.
In Us WeeklyIn an exclusive sneak peek of the Tuesday, January 7, episode of the Lifetime reality series, the cast reunites to celebrate one month of marriage.
Instead of raising a glass to love and happiness, however, Emem,34, and The catch41, they obviously have some issues they need to work out in front of the rest of the team.
“My husband calls me —— on our one month anniversary, I don’t have much,” said Emem. Juan and the whole team. “I don’t have much to offer.”
While Ikechi is silent at the dinner table, Emem explains why she is so angry with her husband after they have been married for almost four weeks.
“Call me a—— for being MIA? He said he needed space and time,” he said. “I was sending you a message. I called you. You didn’t answer and you show up today in this funny ass suit. I’m done. You are crazy about this. I’ve been texting and calling you for two f—ing days.”
After Ikechi denied his wife’s allegations that he was trying to communicate with her, Emem can’t help but talk loudly.
“You’re lying,” he shouted from the front Karla and other ladies ask him to go to the bathroom in the hope that he will calm down.
Before she catches her breath and officially leaves the table, Emem has one last insult to her husband.
“F—ing clown,” he said for all to hear. “Bring me an actor, you’ll get a circus.”
Viewers met Emem and Ikechi during the season 18 preview Married At First Sight in October 2024. At that time, both sides hoped that the show’s experts – including Dr. Pepper SchwartzTeacher Calvin Roberson and Dr. And Holec – he can match them with their eternal partner.
Emem is presented as an open-minded woman who is not interested in spending time on dating. As for Ikechi, it is said that he was a man who did work to find out who he was and what he wanted.
As part of Married At First Sight test, both parties agreed to allow Lifetime cameras to follow them for eight weeks as they experienced the ups and downs of their marriage.
On Decision Day – or the show’s season finale – Emem and Ikechi will decide whether they want to stay married or divorce.
