Brianna Chickenfry Stuns at 2025 Golden Globes After Split From Zach Bryan
Brianna “Chickenfry” LaPaglia rocked her solo appearance at the Golden Globe Awards after her breakup Zach Bryan.
LaPaglia, 25, walked the red carpet alone on Sunday, January 5, wearing a black coat. She previously attended the 2024 broadcast with Bryan, 28, and her then-partner Grace O’Malley. The “BFFs” podcaster and O’Malley, 26, hit the red carpet together before meeting Bryan, 28, inside.
LaPaglia began dating “Something in the Orange” singer Bryan in 2023. After announcing their allegedly amicable split in October 2024, LaPaglia said on her “BFFs” podcast that she wasn’t blindsided by her decision and said Bryan didn’t acknowledge her at the Golden Globes. costume. (LaPaglia wore a slinky dress that featured dramatic leg splits.)
“He said he didn’t want to date someone who presented himself like that,” LaPaglia said on his podcast in November 2024. “You ruined my night. Everything good, anything good I could do for me, he made sure to ruin it for me.”
LaPaglia also accused Bryan of emotional abuse and stealing her pet cat. He went on to say that he initially asked her to sign a $12 million non-disclosure agreement so that she would not talk about him, but she refused to listen to it.
Bryan never publicly responded to the allegations after first announcing his split.
“Something to talk about: Brianna and I have separated [sic] and I respect and love him with all my heart,” Bryan wrote on an Instagram Story in October 2024. “He has loved me unconditionally for a very long time and for that I will always be grateful.”
he faced very difficult things. I thought it would be beneficial for both of us to go our separate ways. I am not perfect and I will never be perfect. … If you have it in your heart, mine too. For all that I am and anyone I embarrass, I’m sorry. I try my best in everything. I have failed the people who love me and especially myself.”
LaPaglia, meanwhile, has been candid about the breakup — from moving out of Bryan’s home to dying her hair black — on social media.
“We have exciting news. I think I gained 11 pounds. I know, I know,” he said in a TikTok video last month. “And it’s fun and surprising because I have an appetite again, I’m eating. I’m like an idiot, you haven’t eaten in a year but maybe relax a little.”
According to LaPaglia, she allegedly “lost a lot of weight” following the breakup drama.
“It was a toxic, bad, horrible situation and I was going through something bad mentally but I couldn’t eat and I was reduced to skin and bones,” she said. “So, I started to force myself to eat. Like, I was eating pasta, fast food – anything that would make me gain weight.”
The 82nd annual Golden Globes airs Sunday, January 5, 2025, on CBS at 8 pm ET. The event will also be broadcast live on Paramount+.
