Widebody Porsche 997 With Slanted Nose Pushes for Amazing Looks and Performance

For purists, the idea of taking any Porsche 911 and modifying it to not only be wide but also carry a slanted nose is something reserved only for a select few. Some would certainly scoff at the idea of doing something like that with the 997, though they’d scoff at the idea with the 996 even more, but we think this build pulls off the look wonderfully.

Although the car originated in Stuttgart, the 911 now resides in Japan. That helps explain the insane amount of custom work poured into it. Many Japanese owners like to shave, trim, soak, and ride their mounts to create something new.
Not everyone will like the results. But it seems that the most beautiful Porsches, Lamborghinis, Ferraris, and countless other products are customized in very different ways.
This build was created by Mun Luck, a gearhead based in Gunman, Japan. This man is clearly proud of his ride and we’re sure he loves the video Harnett Media had with him. After all, not only is the cinematography beautiful, it also features a cool soundtrack to create the right vibe.
The front end of this car was obtained by Old and New Japan Porsche 997 Slant Nose Conversion kit. You may not have seen it before as it is not very popular in the US and elsewhere, but there are others.
With the modified nose comes the transmission of the lights to the lower part of the fascia. That really changes the look of the 997.
As for mass therapy, it is a common practice in Japan. People do it in other places, but this one doesn’t just have these sick fireworks, it’s brought down to the top of the street. That low, wide stance looks like a predator ready to pounce.
Thanks to the airbags, the owner can keep this 997 from going out. The ride also sports a roll cage, aftermarket exhaust, nice wheels, and more.
