The Florida veteran and Air Force veteran is urging anyone who met New Orleans terrorist Shamsud-Din Jabbar or Las Vegas bomber Matthew Livelsberger at Fort Liberty, formerly Fort Bragg, to contact his office.
He also asked for information on failed killer Ryan Routh, the North Carolina man who was arrested at President-elect Donald Trump’s golf course in Florida when he allegedly pointed a gun at the fence while the would-be military commander was playing a round. .
“If you are at Fort Bragg (Liberty) and you have information about these three men but are afraid to come to your chain of command, I can offer you protection and information to take,” said Representative Anna Paulina Luna in her post. X Thursday night.

Routh, 58, has roots in North Carolina but most recently lived in Hawaii. Luna appeared to be referring to a recent report that Routh, a citizen with a long criminal record, had visited Fort Bragg multiple times.
Luna is a member of the House Committee on Oversight and Accountability. His office did not immediately respond to requests for comment.
The military said Thursday that while both Jabbar and Livelsberger were working at the North Carolina base, there was no overlap during their time there.

In Las Vegas, Clark County Sheriff Kevin McMahill said while both men traveled to Afghanistan in 2009, any possible relationship is still being investigated.
“We have no evidence that they were in the same province in Afghanistan, in the same area or in the same unit,” said McMahill. “There are other things that are still being investigated.”
Both men used the Turo app to rent electric trucks used in these incidents, he said.

Between 2007 and 2015, Jabbar was a human resources and IT specialist. From 2015 to 2020, he remained an IT specialist in the Army Reserve. Livelsberger was an Army Green Beret serving in the 10th Special Forces group.
Livelsberger, 37, has been identified as the man who exploded inside a Cybertruck full of explosives and flames just outside the front door steps of the Trump International Hotel Las Vegas on New Year’s Day.
Speaking of a possible motive, authorities on Friday released parts of a “manifesto” left by Livelsberger, who wrote “This was not a terrorist attack, it was a wake up call.”
PTSD and ongoing family problems may also be factors, sheriff’s officials said.

Hours ago, Jabbar, 42, drove a rented Ford EV van that attacked pedestrians on the famous street of New Orleans, Bourbon Street, killing at least 14 and injuring more than 30. After the crash, he opened fire on the police and died in the shootout. The FBI said Thursday that the Texas native has pledged allegiance to ISIS and is a domestic terrorist.
FBI Deputy Assistant Director Christopher Raia told reporters in New Orleans on Thursday that “no direct connection” had been found between the attack and the explosion, but authorities in both cases said they were still investigating.
