Houston hopes to turn its fortunes around heading into the 2025 campaign.
The Cougars experienced a fruitful final season in the American Athletic Conference the past two seasons, going 36-23 overall with a 17-6 league record. However, their first season in the Big 12 Conference did not go as planned, as they finished with 26 wins and a league record of just 7-21.
Some of last year’s lack of success can be attributed to just a lack of execution, while injuries also took their toll – especially on the mound.
The Coogs will have a very different look in many ways going into the spring.
