WME denies Ryan Reynolds, Blake Lively Pressure to dump Justin Baldoni

The case, discovered by Us Weeklyalleges that Lively “systematically sidelined [him] from promoting his film.”
Baldoni also alleged that Lively tried to prevent him from premiering the film last summer.
“Continuing to belittle Baldoni’s role, Lively initially refused to allow him to attend the film’s premiere,” the lawsuit states. “It was only after much pressure that he reluctantly agreed to allow Baldoni and the Wayfarer team to come, but under humiliating conditions. The Wayfarer team and their families, including Baldoni and [producer Jamey] Heath, they were separated from the main cast, barred from an exclusive after-party, and forced to organize their own event at an additional cost.”
The lawsuit also details Lively’s alleged attempt to exclude Baldoni and his family from the film’s premiere.
“Baldoni’s participation on the red carpet was cut short, and his family and friends were confined to a temporary area in the basement before being moved to a different theater after Lively’s departure,” the suit continued. “Not only did Lively steal the movie, but she also robbed Baldoni and his team of any opportunity to celebrate their hard work.”
Lively filed her lawsuit against Baldoni in the Southern District of New York on Tuesday, Us can confirm. In addition to Baldoni, the actor is also suing the publishers Melissa Nathan again Jennifer Abeland Wayfarer Studios.

The lawsuit alleges sexual harassment, retaliation, breach of contract, emotional abuse, invasion of privacy and loss of wages. Claims similar to those made in Lively’s complaint were filed with the California Department of Human Rights 11 days earlier.
“Nothing in this case changes anything about the claim filed in Ms. Lively’s California Civil Rights Department Complaint, or her federal complaint, filed earlier today,” Lively’s attorney responded to Baldoni’s lawsuit in a statement. Us. “This case is based on the patently false idea that Ms. Lively’s management of Wayfarer and others was a strategy based on the choice ‘not to press charges against Baldoni, Wayfarer,’ and that ‘prosecution was not his final goal.’ As indicated by the federal complaint filed by Ms. Lively earlier today, that outline of the Wayfarer lawsuit is false.
