Christina Aguilera shuts down haters as Ozempic rumors spread
Christina Aguilera is starting the new year with an important message.
On Tuesday, the Grammy Award winner posted a video on her Instagram revealing her different photos throughout the year and a flurry of comments from online haters questioning her physical appearance following rumors of Ozempic use. In the caption, Aguilera reminded her 10 million followers that while judgment is inevitable, “nobody deserves an explanation.”
“This year, I’m doing something different. This is a reminder to everyone that YOU ARE THE DIRECTOR OF YOUR LIFE,” he wrote. “No one else can say who you are. No one deserves an explanation. I’ve evolved enough to know that nothing comes easy and no one is perfect.”

“Everyone is going to judge you. No matter what you do,” he continued. “And/whatever you don’t do. Acceptance comes with accepting yourself first. And the difficult journey it takes sometimes to get there. I celebrate everyone who takes the time to put one step before the next day to make their next version better. Allowing yourself kindness, patience and respect.”
While Aguilera’s appearance has sparked debate online about whether she has dated Ozempic, the “Beautiful” singer has not directly addressed the speculation.
Ozempic, which is an injection of semaglutide, was originally approved by the US Food and Drug Administration for the treatment of type 2 diabetes, but the drug has been increasingly given a weight loss label, along with several other similar drugs.

“When you’re a teenager, you have a very different body than when you’re in your 20s,” she told Glamor . “I started filling out, and that was unacceptable because it was like, ‘Oh, you’re going crazy.’ Then I had some people in the industry: ‘They loved your body and the way you were a skinny teenager.’

“I’ll never want to remember my 20s — you’re in your head and you’re finding your confidence,” Aguilera said. “As you get older, you stop comparing yourself to other people and start appreciating your body and being yourself.”
“Self-acceptance is what beauty is all about,” she added. “As much as I also like being a glamorous girl and playing for the camera, when it’s all over, that’s what’s ultimately most rewarding – being able to feel good about who’s staring at you in the mirror, because ‘I’m all yours.'”
