Deion Sanders takes aim at ‘lots of IDIOTS’ suggesting he’ll choose where his sons play in the NFL
“Coach Prime” had time Monday to call out the “many IDIOTS” on social media who believe they know he wants his sons, Shedeur and Shiloh Sanders, to play in the NFL.
Deion Sanders, head coach of the Colorado Buffaloes, posted his thoughts on X after seeing other social media users suggest teams they didn’t want Shedeur to play for.
Week 17 brought a major shakeup in the 2025 NFL Draft order, as the New York Giants, owners of the No. 1, shockingly defeating the Indianapolis Colts to fall to No. 4 in the list.

When the season ends on Monday, the New England Patriots will own the first pick since they just took third rounder Drake Maye back in April.
“There will be a lot of IDIOTS saying completely untrue things about how I would like @ShedeurSanders and @ShiloSanders to play in the @nfl,” Sanders tweeted. “If I say it, I’ll say it directly to someone who might not bother the attention seeker. I know @nflcommish personally!”
The importance of the NFL Draft discussion comes after Shedeur was spotted hitting the Giants custom before his last game for the Buffaloes against BYU, a 36-14 loss in the Valero Alamo Bowl.

And that happened after a video of Shedeur went viral on the practice field after saying, “We know where we’re going, you’ll see them on the field this week.”
Considering the Giants’ need for a franchise player after Daniel Jones was cut midseason, Shedeur, considered a top pick in April, has been among those linked to the team.
That connection continued as Shedeur was spotted holding hands with Giants star rookie receiver Malik Nabers on the streets of New York City, as the former was in town for Travis Hunter’s Heisman Trophy ceremony.

But now, the Tennessee Titans, another team in need of a quarterback with Will Levis and Mason Rudolph not solidifying the role, sit above the Giants in the draft order at No.
One could even make the argument that the Cleveland Browns, who own the third overall pick, could be after a quarterback even with Deshaun Watson signed for years to come.
As for Shiloh, there are questions as to whether the 6-foot, 195-pound defensive back will be drafted at all. He has strong fighting qualities, but his combination skills are lacking in the eyes of experts.
But coach Prime has made it clear that he believes that Shedeur will be selected first, and he even suggested that he would step in if there is no suitable structure in the organization that drafts his son.

Time will tell if that works out — an Eli Manning situation if you will — but the process has already begun with Shedeur, Shiloh and other NFL prospects who won’t be playing college games this season.
