Also, Steffy says she respects that relationship and won’t interfere. However, his actions say otherwise.
But, despite her committed relationship with Brooke Logan, it never stops Steffy from playing Cupid with Taylor and her father.
Growing up, Steffy got used to being part of a family that played second fiddle to Brooke. But after seeing a little spark between his parents this week it continued Brave and Beautiful, he is running.
Steffy struggles to rekindle her parent’s relationship. But after what Ridge said about Taylor and her kids, fans thought he was selling Taylor Hayes short.

Bold and Beautiful fans are waiting to hear Steffy Forrester’s response to her father when she talks about Taylor Hayes this week. He called Taylor, Steffy, and his siblings his “safety net”, which was very offensive B&B followers.
But what the viewers expected, did not happen to Steffy. On the contrary, his silence seemed to suggest that he knew that what his father said had some truth to it.
But worst of all, fans believe that Steffy was fine with what Ridge said about her relationship with Taylor as long as it brought her parents together. Other Bold and Beautiful fans saw this as a touching moment, so they suggested it went over his head.
While Ridge appeared to open up about Taylor Hayes, he painted a picture of how he sees her and their family. And fans were surprised when they heard him admit how he considers them as his safety net.
The Bold and the Beautiful: Aghast Over Steffy Not Defending Taylor

Fans wanted to see him holding on to his mother and him. Ridge seemed to think that Taylor and their children were his go-to people for a safety net. Hold for them a place where they can find unconditional love.
The explanation her father gave to Steffy Forrester about Taylor Hayes and their family resonated badly with fans. It was as if Taylor was his prize for counseling when the going got tough.
So, instead of Steffy Forrester sitting idly by while her father talked about Taylor Hayes as a port in the storm, viewers expected something more from this daughter on the CBS soap.
