Alabama Barker Breaks Silence on Hospitalization Rumors

Alabama Barker he talks about the widespread rumors that he was hospitalized due to nicotine withdrawal.

“Hello everyone, I want to clarify that I was not in the hospital this month or last,” wrote the “Vogue” rapper, 19, on his Instagram Story on Tuesday, December 31. “The situation happened in the past, and I was there three hours before I was discharged.”

Earlier this week, rumors spread online that Alabama, who is Alabama’s daughter Travis Barker and ex-wife Shanna Moaklersuffered from nicotine withdrawal after allegedly quitting smoking. Although Barker did not reveal why he was hospitalized, he did share what he learned from the visit.

“They gave me a nicotine patch and an inhaler. That’s all,” he continued. “Let’s avoid spreading rumors and focus on moving forward. Thank you.”

Earlier this week, Alabama revealed that he had just gotten over the flu.

“I’ve had a cold, and I’m not well,” he said in a December 27 TikTok video. “I didn’t enjoy it [my birthday] because I was very sick but I’m back.”

Alabama’s birthday is Christmas Eve – which explains why he wasn’t included in any photos alongside his father and wife, Kourtney Kardashianat the Kardashian family’s annual holiday gathering. While Alabama missed the celebration, she got a wonderful holiday gift.

On the same December 27 TikTok, Alabama showed off what she got for Christmas including a glittering Balenciaga shoulder bag, a vintage gold Dior bag, a faded Prada bag, a woven Chanel backpack, a Birkin bag and more.

“I got my second Birkin of my collection,” Alabama said, holding up an Hermès bag. “We love him!”

While Alabama is still recovering, Travis sent a sweet post in honor of his daughter’s birthday.

“Happy 19th birthday my angel @alabamaluellabarker. I can’t believe I’m saying that,” the Blink-182 drummer wrote on Instagram at the time. “I’m proud of you and I love watching you grow. Never settle, the stars are never far away. Never give up, never give up. I love you unconditionally. I love you to the moon and back. 🖤 ​​Father.”

Alabama and her father have shared a close relationship over the years. As Alabama chases her musical dreams, Travis has been there to support her along the way. When the music video for his song “Vogue” dropped earlier this month, both Travis and Kardashian made cameos in the production.
