Ali Fedotowsky Reveals The Bachelor Star’s Past Inspired Her Vegetarian Diet

Fedotowsky, 40, described the Monday, December 23, episode of Kaitlyn BristoweThe “Off the Vine” podcast says he was “very sick” while hosting a travel show called First Look and eating a variety of foods. I am at the event of Bachelor In New York, Fedotowsky began discussing his problems with Allemand.
“I tell him how I feel, and he’s like, ‘You should try to be a killer. I have been a pescetarian for years. I feel happy.’ That is, like eating only fish and so on. I was like, ‘Okay,’” Fedotowsky said. So we have this dinner, and then, 10 days later, he dies.
After appearing Jake Pavelka‘s season 14 of Bachelor in 2010 alongside Fedotowsky, Allemand died by suicide at the age of 29 in 2013.

“After that, I thought, I said, ‘Oh, I’m going to be pescetarian for two weeks,’ like at that dinner we had,” Fedotowsky said. “And when that happened, every time I went to eat meat, or thought about it, I couldn’t, because I was thinking about Gia.”
Fedotowsky continued, “I haven’t eaten a single piece of meat since that dinner I had with him, like, 14, 13 years ago, and I’ve been a vegetarian ever since.”
The former Bachelorette explained that she “hadn’t fully talked about that story” until now. “I’ve said, like I said, like, briefly on an Instagram story here or there, but that’s the reason until today,” he said.
Fedotowsky, who continued the marriage Kevin Manno in 2017, she explained that her husband continued to cut meat from his diet. (Fetotowsky and Manno, 41, share daughter Molly, 8, and son Riley, 6.)

“My husband, he was eating full meat when I met him, then we watched documentaries, and he became a straight vegan at that time,” she said. “Now, it’s not, because we live in the south and it’s hard to find things.”
While reminiscing about his friendship with Allemand, Fedotowsky explained that the two reconnected after the show.
“Actually, we are looking forward a little bit Bachelorbut we got back together after anything says more about the kind of person he is,” Fedotowsky said, calling Allemand “very nice.”
