A woman in Alaska has been convicted of murdering her court-appointed supervisor
An Alaska woman has been convicted of murdering her court-ordered boss, police said.
Keith Huss, 57, was found dead on September 29, 2020, at a rest stop in Hope, Alaska, the state Department of Justice said in a release.
On December 23, a jury convicted 39-year-old Sarah Dayan of first- and second-degree murder and other crimes.

Authorities say Huss was found at the Turnagain Pass rest area, prompting a police investigation. He was shot four times with a .45 caliber pistol and hit by a car, police said.
Further investigation revealed that Huss had been appointed by a judge to be Dayan’s third-party guardian, a condition of her release on bail.
Authorities said Huss was last seen picking Dayan up from jail in an arrangement to drive to Anchorage to work at Huss’ food truck.
A manhunt was launched for Dayan, and he was arrested on October 1, 2020.
Authorities say Dayan found a .45-caliber handgun after he was released from prison.
Police also saw damage to Dayan’s car “which was used to hit Mr. Huss,” police said.
“The review of the bank account of Mr. “It turns out that Dayan used her account to buy things for herself and transferred hundreds of dollars from her bank account to hers after her death,” police said.
