A Colorado man was wanted in connection with a bank robbery after he handed over an illegible note

A man from Colorado is said to have tried to rob a bank but left nothing after giving a note to a teller who could not explain what he wrote, according to police.

The incident happened before 5:00 p.m. on December 17 at the First National Bank at 750 North Lincoln Ave.

Police said the man entered the bank and handed the teller a note.

However, the teller had a hard time reading the note as it was said to be almost illegible, according to CBS Colorado.

The man was said to have been frustrated when the man was struggling to read a book, and then quickly left the bank, said the source.

Police are still looking for the suspect.

The man was captured on surveillance footage wearing a brown hoodie, green pants, a green baseball cap, sunglasses and brown gloves.
