Marc Blucas and His Wife Ryan Haddon’s Relationship Timeline
An actor Marc Blucas and his wife, Ryan Haddonthey have been together for more than ten years.
Blucas, best known for roles in Summer Catch, The first daughter and a slide show of Hallmark movies married to Haddon in 2009. Together, they share two daughters. (Haddon has two older children with a previous husband Christian Slater.)
“My family will always be more important to me than my career,” the actor told Wake Forest University’s alumni magazine in 2019. “Right now, my kids are at an age where they want to be with me.”
Blucas will fly home every two weeks from the set to see his loved ones. She and Haddon live with their combined brood in a renovated farmhouse in rural Pennsylvania.
“You know what’s amazing, our house was built in 1711, you know, before George Washington was born. … It’s a way to stay creative when I’m not filming and working,” Blucas said during a 2016 interview with Hallmark’s. Home and family. “We wanted to be closer to family so we returned to the East Coast to be near them. It’s the only place in the United States that has that kind of architecture with old stone barns and old stone houses.”
According to Blucas, the area has become “the projects of a lifetime.”
“We have 15 chickens, two rabbits, a dog, cats—wild animals [off-the-charts],” he added. “We see [foxes and deer] always. We do all the houses. In fact, my wife [and I] a new law had to be established. … We were working on a big house and my wife comes home with chicks so, I’m like, ‘Where are we going to put them, honey?’”

2008
Three years after Haddon and Slater divorced, she started dating Blucas.
2009
Blucas and Haddon tied the knot in July after a year together.
2012
Blucas and Haddon moved from Los Angeles to Pennsylvania the same year their oldest daughter was born.
“From 25 to 35, it was a great place to be,” he told Wake Forest alumni magazine in 2019. “I was single. It’s the heart of the field I was in, and I needed to learn it and make relationships.”
He added at the time, “It’s Pig Day In LA It’s 70 years old and it’s always good, but you can’t really mark the time. There is no cycle of life and death. Leaves do not fall from trees. After a while, you blink, five years have passed, and you don’t even know this because the trees don’t grow.”
2015
Four years after Blucas and Haddon’s daughter was born, she became a big sister. (The couple did not publicly disclose the names of one of their children.)
“There’s nothing better than watching them share new things together,” Blucas wrote on Instagram in 2017, sharing a photo of the siblings.
2024

That December, news broke that Haddon’s mother, Dialdied at the age of 76 after a suspected carbon monoxide leak in the couple’s home.
“I always trust the timing of things. There are no accidents and how we enter and exit this world is mysterious and unknown,” Haddon wrote on Instagram about his mother, a famous model. “He was a person with a high spiritual heart who placed importance on the evolution of his soul, so I know that his journey here at this stage must have ended. I respect him. I bow to him. I respect all the paths and adventures taken. I saw him as golden and always reaching for the Light in all aspects of his life.”
Blucas was not quick to talk about his mother-in-law’s passing.
