Dayle Haddon Praised Working With Blake Lively 4 Months Before Dying
A few months before the model Dale Haddon he died at the age of 76, he appeared next to him Blake Lively in a Vogue graphic design.
“What a great time working with the brilliant @bazluhrmann in his version of a classic film, Catching a Thief for the @voguemagazine September Issue,” Haddon wrote on Instagram in August. “Brilliant director and photographer, Baz, passionate, creative, inclusive was a joy to work with!!”
He added, “Loved working alongside @blakelively who is so fun, funny and fierce. Blake is not only beautiful, inside and out, she’s accidentally generous, fixing my dress during pick-up, fixing my @cartier jewels [and] I make sure I ‘shine’ during the shoot!”
Haddon continues to praise Vogue icon Anna Wintour to “pull off this exciting project” with all the “huge talents” including Lively, 37, and Hugh Jackman.
Haddon died four months later on Friday, December 27.
“The bright light that is Dayle has dimmed in this world of Earth. To shine somewhere as brightly as ever where it is most needed, I have no doubt,” Haddon’s daughter, Ryanhe wrote on Instagram. “She was a woman in her power, but gentle and obedient to all. She is deeply intelligent and curious, gifted with beauty inside and out. Always kind and considerate.”
The 53-year-old reporter added, “In conversation, he could go to the deepest places and rise to the highest spiritual understanding. He lifted up many, saw their greatness sometimes hidden from them, and always built bridges through his connections to help them rise. He was everyone’s greatest champion. An inspiration to many.”
Ryan, Haddon’s ex-husband Glenn Souhamgoing on to explain how he plans to honor his mother’s legacy going forward.
“I always trust the timing of things. There are no dangers and how we enter and exit this world is mysterious and unknown,” Ryan wrote in his upload. “He was a person with a high spiritual heart who placed importance on the evolution of his soul, so I know that his journey here at this stage must have ended. I respect him. I bow to him. I respect all the paths and adventures taken. I saw him as golden and always reaching for the Light in all aspects of his life.”
Ryan reshared the post on his Instagram Story, with the caption, “Rest in Light, Mom. I am so thankful for this beautiful thing and being his daughter in this life. “
Haddon was found unconscious inside Ryan and her husband Marc Blucas‘ Pennsylvania farm after suspected carbon monoxide leak. The police investigation is ongoing.
