VPR’s Katie Maloney Spends Christmas With New Boyfriend Nick Martin
Katie Maloney celebrated Christmas with her new boyfriend, Nick Martinless than a month after making their relationship official.
The reality star, 37, retweeted several Instagram posts from her mom, Teri Maloneyon Wednesday, December 25, that showed Katie and Nick, 42, spending time together. The trio enjoyed the outing where they saw Christmas lights and fake snow. Katie and Nick are holding hands in some photos during their first vacation together.
The Sleeping With Sirens guitarist was also spotted in pictures uploaded by Katie’s family at their home on Christmas Eve. Katie and Nick were all smiles after going public with their romance.
Katie surprised fans in October when she confirmed she was seeing someone new. “I have a boyfriend,” she told her friend Dayna Kathan during an episode of their “Sincerely” podcast. “Yes, I am in love, everyone. I am really happy.”

I Vanderpump Rules alum noted that she prefers to keep the identity of her significant other a secret.
“This weekend, I went to see my boyfriend. He has to go to work, I went to meet him and spend time with him,” he continued. “It was really amazing because I hadn’t seen him in a few weeks and just getting to know him, spending quality time and being around him was really necessary and really nice.”
Katie’s ex Scheana Shay finally confirmed their love by accident.
“There’s been some stuff on the internet lately. I saw bits and pieces. But let me tell you, she couldn’t have been more beautiful,” Scheana, 39, shared on her podcast that month. “He’s from San Diego and we just talked about that. Then I went back to them and later back to the hotel at the end of the night, again [he] he was just a nice guy. I caught the end of their set.”
Katie and Nick’s romance comes after two years of separation from Tom Schwartz. The former couple were married for six years before their 2022 divorce. Schwartz, 42, continued with Sophia Skoro.
After ending her marriage, Katie was linked to an actor Satchel Clendenin again Love Island USA‘s Connor Newsom before finding love with Nick. She previously explained what she was looking for in her next relationship.
“I never felt important. [Tom] I never really had my back or protected me or felt supported or heard. I just wanted that validation from him. So I made myself small in ways. I lost myself. I was a shell of a woman,” Katie said during the September 2023 episode of the “Almost Grown Up” podcast. “It took me to work on myself in general – not because of all that – but I didn’t feel good in my body and in general. I wanted to increase my confidence and I started working on myself.”
Katie made it clear at the time that she did not regret her decision.
“I was not asking for the country. I was asking for someone to pick me up and they failed. Over and over and over again. It turned out to be a voice that was getting louder and I couldn’t deny it anymore,” he added. “It was months – a period of months – and I just came to a place where I needed to be real with myself and be real with him. I just knew. I started to ignore myself. I still loved him but the love between us – that connection – that love was gone.”
