Jennifer Love Hewitt fights ageism in Hollywood.
While Hewitt was seen for decades, he rebuffed critics who scrutinized his appearance as he grew in the industry.
“It’s age,” he told Fox News Digital. “I think women are really getting into this … their acceptance and ease in their 40s—that’s great.”

Although “The Holiday Junkie” star said she loves her current age, she admitted that the most challenging thing is the public’s reaction to her age.

“It’s hard times for me though… I feel like fans choose… their favorite age that they think represents you, and you shouldn’t grow up beyond that,” he explained as he quoted Taylor Swift.

For Hewitt, he found that fans were more adoring than he was in his 20s. Hewitt is known for his role in the franchise “I Know What You Did Last Summer”, where he starred with Sarah Michelle Gellar and Freddie Prinze Jr., and “Heartbreakers” with Sigourney Weaver and the cult group “Can “t”. Wait a minute.”

“For me… it was like me and 20 years old … people seem to have a very hard time accepting that … I don’t look like that anymore,” the 45-year-old admitted.

“It’s hard because I think as humans, we want to appear… we want to have lines on our faces, and you know our breasts are smaller from breastfeeding our babies, or you know our hips are bigger,” she said with a laugh. .
“Whatever it is, you just want to have the freedom to be whoever you are at that age. And it hurts sometimes when people reject you as you talk on Instagram or on the Internet because it’s hard to adapt.”

Last year, the “Party of Five” actress responded to allegations that she was “unrecognizable” after sharing a photo on social media.
“It hurts sometimes when people reject you as you are.”
Hewitt chose to apply a filter to the photo she posted as she was wearing no make-up and was met with negative comments and headlines suggesting that she looked very different.

“The picture ended somewhere. And the crowd was like, ‘Jennifer Love Hewitt is invisible,'” he said on Michael Rosenbaum’s podcast.

“‘He’s unemployable, so he went to auditions because he doesn’t want us to know how bad he looks now in his 40s.’ And I said, ‘This is crazy.’ Is that okay?”
Hewitt previously noted the irony that at a young age she didn’t fully understand what it meant to be sexy, having graced the cover of Maxim at just 17 years old.

Now, the Hollywood actress’ perception of her fans has changed since she became a mother of three children.
“I have a daughter, I sympathize with her because I don’t want my children to read those things and feel that way… or worry that it will hurt me… it’s hard to do that sometimes.”
Hewitt’s daughters seem to be following in their parents’ footsteps. They were involved in the Christmas movie, “Holiday Junkie.”
The Lifetime film, directed by Hewitt and his first Christmas film, focuses on his character, Andie, who navigates the holidays through a difficult time after losing her mother.

Although his character is going through a trying time, his spirits are lifted when he finds unexpected Christmas love.

Her on-screen love interest is played by her real-life husband, Brian Hallisay. The couple first met on the set of the Lifetime movie “Love Bites” and tied the knot in November 2013. They share three children together: Autumn, 11, Atticus, 9, and Aidan, 3.

Hewitt has been acting since he was a child and told Fox News Digital the advice he would give his younger self.
“I was always a worrier,” he commented. “I was always worried… I was very happy at work, too [thought] it would be the last time or that… people would kick me out of Hollywood and never let me do things again.”

“Or that I was going to sleep … whatever it was. I was always worried … I really enjoyed it and I was there … I had a good time and all that stuff. But I wasted a lot of time worrying. And I think I just said to him, ‘Look, it’s going to be okay, you’re going to start old age, and they’ll still let you do things…Okay.’
