Sunny shared a photo of herself on the beach without a bikini on Saturday, December 21. “Chapter closed✨,” she wrote. “Happy holidays and a happy new year to all of you in my life and those who have supported me through their phone screens 🫶🏻.”
The former reality star noted that “it’s time to look forward,” adding, “See you in 2025 #whatsnext.” Sunny’s lucky social media post came shortly after Ben confirmed they had called it quits after sparking rumors of a split.
“I need to kindly ask that people respect my space at this time and stop negative comments and messages,” the bosun wrote via Instagram Story. “It’s been a very difficult few weeks and some things are private between two people. I understand that the relationship was public and followed by many. Thank you for your understanding.”

Ben and Sunny met while filming season 11 Below Deck. After beginning to form an unusual relationship, their situation is further complicated when Ben is promoted. Ben was also still on his old phone Camille Lambreached him while still in contact with Sunny.
“Going back to St. With Camille, it was this instant spark. We were very much like children in love. I’ve been thinking about him lately,” Ben said to the cameras during an April appearance on the hit Bravo show. “Perhaps there is something I believe that there could be something because we had fun together. Do you see what the girls did?”
Camille ended up shutting Ben down and wasn’t sure if she would stay with Sunny.
“There was a conflict between me and Sunny. Sunny said she doesn’t want a relationship. He was just there to enjoy the experience and what was happening,” he said Us Weekly in March. “When things happened, we were both very affected and it was difficult for me to just tell him that I must focus on my work because I am entering this leadership position.”

He continued: “I think he took a lot of things personally when it should have been for work and I want to see him after the show. So that’s where my head is right now. We want to do the work first and see what will blossom after that.”
When season 11 ended, Ben confirmed that he and Sunny had reconciled off-screen.
“Yes you guessed it 😜 we are still together! We can finally release the secret that has been kept for the past 15 months,” he said on Instagram in May about himself and Sunny. “We want to thank you all for your support throughout season 11 @belowdeckbravo it’s been a great season to remember and the beginning of a relationship.”
