Morrone said she was “really tired” of seeing “brutal and nasty comments” about Lively who “doesn’t know the situation.” He put together a New York Times article published on Saturday, December 21, describes Lively’s catalog of complaints against Baldoni, 40, on the set of It ends with usasked fans to read “to make you understand, before commenting, what happened.”

In a statement to UsBaldoni’s lawyer Bryan Freedman called Lively’s claims “absolutely false, offensive and intentionally rewarding,” saying she filed the lawsuit to “rehabilitate her bad reputation” and “refresh the narrative” about the film’s production. He said Lively made “many demands and threats,” including “threats to not show up, threats not to promote the film, which led to it being destroyed at the time of release, if her demands weren’t met.”
Lively reprises her role in Simple Grace 2which is the sequel to his 2018 hit single Anna Kendrickwhich is due to be released next year.

On Sunday, December 22, the director of the film, Paul Feighe also expressed his support for Lively.
“I’ve now done two movies with Blake and all I can say is that he’s one of the most talented, creative, collaborative, talented and kind people I’ve ever worked with,” Feig shared with X.
Feig added, “He really didn’t deserve this smear campaign. I think it’s terrible that you’re going through this.”
Lively also received the support of Hoover, the author of the novel It ends with Us supported, along with Sony Pictures, the studio that released the film.
