When Rod (Alan Bagh), a star Silicon Valley salesman, closes a million dollar deal, he decides to start his own solar panel business. With great wealth comes great responsibility, and Rod wants to use his new wealth to make the world a better place through his energy conservation efforts.
Fortunately, Rod falls for Nathalie (Whitney Moore), his high school student who is now pursuing a modeling career. Rod and Nathalie soon break up, but have to put their romantic intentions on the backburner when mutated eagles and vultures fall from the sky and explode on impact. Although the subject, Birdemic: Shock and Aweletting the viewer know what to expect, this main source of conflict is briefly revealed during a quick story bumper before things move on.
