Rachel Recchia Receives DM From Contestant Who ‘Rejected’ Her Rose

“I got a DM from one of these guys who rejected my rose,” said Rachel, 28, on the Saturday, December 21, episode of the “Almost Famous” podcast, noting that she received the message about a month ago. “He didn’t send the message, but I have a screenshot.”
When asked why the contestant would send a DM, Rachel said, “If you’re going to send a message like that, and you want to apologize in a way, say it with your full heart.”
“He starts saying, ‘Yo. What’s up Rachel, random, I know. I was just thinking about my time in the Bach house and all the regrets I have for not seeing things. I definitely had to reach out because it’s something that’s been on my mind, and something that I’ve thought about for a few years. What could have been and how exciting things could have been,’” he read. “‘So I’m trying to see if you can’t just chill and grab a drink or two and have a good time.'”

Rachel explained that she thinks the contestant is thinking about how she has “lost the knowledge” of the game.
“I’m like, ‘You didn’t shoot me, so I’m not going to shoot you now,'” she said. “But you know what, we could have been something.”
Rachel explained that the suitor, who follows her on Instagram, “chose to go home” during week 2 even though she “wanted him there.”
“I’m sad to read it, but you get me,” Rachel told her former Bachelorette partner Trista Sutter. “That’s crazy.”
While recalling her time leading with Gabby, 33, Rachel explained that the contestants were torn between the two women.
“Boys, from what I gathered, they didn’t know that if you don’t get a rose from one, you won’t get it from another,” said Raheli. “So, one guy said, ‘No,’ to my rose because he thought he could get Gabby’s, right, and it just fell off.”
Rachel called the rose festival “the most shameful night” of her life. Your confidence is like, ‘Do these guys like me?’ I’m scared, I’m doing this for the first time,” he said. “To make people be like, ‘I’d rather go home than hang out with you,’ … it was terrible.”
In Rachel’s opinion, men “really want to be strong.” He went on to say, “They are used to being the ones chasing them and that’s when it’s in our hands, I feel like it’s taking away their masculinity.” If they feel like, ‘Well, I’m not your best runner, I’ll just walk away because I don’t want you to fall,'”
Rachel finally accepted the offer from him Tino Franco in the 19th season of the ABC series, but the two called it quits when it was revealed that he had kissed another woman during their troubled relationship.
